Our History

Hotel

The Stratford Inn originally opened as a Holiday Inn in 1959 by Joe and Eileen Stendig. In 1989 it was upgraded to The Stratford Inn.

In 2007 it was purchased by Vaibhav VA LLC and is currently managed by Vaibhav Enterprises Inc. Despite many changes, the professional hospitality team has remained in place and believe it or not, some of the original staff from 1959 is still with us.

Over the years Stratford Inn has gained a reputation for its warm hospitality, quality food service, and world class catering as well as leading the restaurant and hospitality field in Danville since 1959.
